Even body language is no help for a waiter that won't pay attention. I don't care if they are overworked or on too many breaks, PLEASE at least pay enough attention to your clients to have an idea when they need you. To be served and then finding something missing, or needing a drink refill or needing a condiment, or

I really like these posts because they trigger other ideas and possibilities, but if you have heat and utensils, why not just boil the water and let the crud settle out, or filter it?

Sure, don't buy sale items you don't need. I do agree with the premise(s), and know that it is the big wins that make a difference, This Year.. But it is competition and keeping the merchant that offers a low price in business that make a difference long term. Think about it, I buy over $50.00 gas a week, and have

Good advice. I agree wholeheartedly, but there is also another factor to consider. Rewarding the merchant for offering a low price: I know paying that 20 cents more for spaghetti won't change my week, but if we don't buy that cheaper (and as good) product, than there is no reason for the merchant to carry it and

Probably the best is to just turn off the TV and computers at sundown, and be sure to open the shades so the morning sun comes in. After a few nights you will adjust to your pattern. Also 8 hours of physical work in the day will help a bunch. Already much too cold here for camping.

For me it was listening to the advice that it was ok to borrow the money, "because the bank (or CC company) wouldn't approve me if I would have trouble repaying. After all they are the experts"

Ryegrass will germinate quickly and will probably look good for a while next spring. It won't do well in the summer heat and guess what, you get to seed it again next fall. In the midwest, a good mixture of turf fescue is the only thing recommended for sunny lawns. Maybe a little ryegrass in the mixture will help

The weekly Sunday morning routine of all trying to get ready at the same time for church are cherished memories remembering my parents and then with my kids. Remembering what is important in our lives, what grounds us, what unites us, and the friends we shared the experience with. Family prayer time really allowed us

I think I have tried 10-15 weather apps, and none suit as well as WeatherBug. The alerts work flawlessly, I like the new interface, and the 'spark' thing works great to tell me just exactly where a thunderstorm is. Scalable radar is best I have seen.

Of course ask questions and be observant.

Successful people. . ? How are they defined?

Jon, Not sure of your question. when resizing for the web, I make the picture full screen by double clicking, then just move the mouse to the left of the screen and pick quick resize. from the list I usually choose 800x600 or 640 x 480 and then do a save-as.

Being able to just enjoy your own mind is called growing up. At least for me. With age and maturity, I find that just to set and think through a project, problem, opportunity or relive a pleasant memory is the best part of my time management. Stopping to just think with no stimuli makes me much more productive than

Ok, but how do I store my guns when I hide them. Oh wait, where did I hide them??

Love this! However I would be concerned about kicking the support out. Probably would add a small bracket of some type on the floor to fasten it to.

Good for stimulating some ideas, but I'm not too impressed with the engineering or construction.

Real hot sauce is very easy to make from home grown peppers, but it does need to ferment.

For me, it works to get a cheap international data plan for 1 month. Leave my phone on airplane mode, but make VOIP calls when I find a wireless network. Or in an emergency I can use the data to make a VOIP call or check news, weather, etc.

I had 23 houses once. Nothing passive about it. Ya, I made a little money, but it just wasn't worth it unless you decide to make it your full time job and hit it every day just like a job. I was not a good landlord. I fell too easily for the kids are sick stories, got temporarily laid off, have nowhere else to go

I agree 100%, Leatherman pliers are better. BUT these are fine for 90 % of the stuff I need and they are ALWAYS available. I use them 2-3 times every day. I bet most leatherman don't get used that much in a week because you have to think to "wear" them. The very best tool is the one you have with you when you need it.
