Yes, true that. Who's left? Obviously, I'm sure they will pare the book down to a certain section, likely the 66 race, I'd think. I know, we have let Cruise play Dino in some flashback sequence.

Not often do I CARE about a movie, but this isn't one that shouldn't get screwed up!

Yep, that would work. He would be a fine Carroll. But for God's sake, not Tom Cruise. He'd want to there driving the cars! Maybe he could play Gurney or something.

While I'm being silly, here is Henry Ford II..... If they can work on the accent and a hairpiece.

I worry about PD, maybe not being old enough looking, even if Carroll was in his 40 in this period, and Dempsey is just a tick older. So, who else was really important in that book? Enzo. I remember. They went through a litany of race deaths and drivers in that period, I would think that a movie would probably spend

Oh, for God's sake, a bazillion +s on this. I don't want shorty McCruise playing my lanky Texas hero! Good God.

Why no AC4 bundle? That's what I would like.

Anyone who steals them, yes.

Very cool Patrick, this has always been one of my favorite movies, and one of my top three favorite actors.

I love those wheels, but didn't have the coinage!

Travis, thanks for sharing this. How sad.

My wife wanted me to get red, and still wishes I had. I wish I'd had gotten the crazy yellow color after seeing one in person at Miller / Track Attack! But, knowing that I'd likely own the car for a LONG time, I was worried that I wouldn't like it and chickened out, since I couldn't find one in person before ordering!

My old Boss is in the background. Sorry for the crummy photo that's from a year or so ago, but it's all I have and forgot my phone today.

I had really considered CO, but decided on PW because I liked the contrast. Really what I wanted was blue with black stripes, but that obviously wasn't an option. Here is mine, I picked up some Shelby type wheels from American Muscle.

The new one is white, and the 70 is medium blue metallic. I posted up some photos. Can you see them?

I'm of the opinion that the 67 Shelby is the best looking of the first generation, in fact, of all the Shelby Mustangs. Always been a big fan, especially of the big fog lights in the grill of the early cars.

My 12 is performance white, and the 70 is medium blue metallic. I've got a 67 fastback, that I'm slowly putting together also, that you can see in the background. Honestly, I'm not in much of a hurry on it.
