Honestly, neither of these consoles is “next-gen” -the graphics are nothing to write home about, it takes longer to load games, if the online service goes out you’re screwed and micro transactions just make the games more frustrating. So what’s so “next-gen” about them?”

The comparison of video game profits vs. movie profits doesn’t really work. The average movie ticket is about $15 and the average console game is $50. Developers also continue work on the game after its release whereas this is rare for a movie.
