Sean, I totally agree with you about Yuko’s “Paradise” being very unnerving. It was claustrophobic and creepy AF! (another review theorized that it was actually Hell... That seems a lot more accurate!)

So what exactly is the Canon for Yuko’s powers? Why is she a 21 year -old rotting corpse some of the time, (when they want to scare us), then suddenly her 20 year-old self again? I would understand it if her original youthful form was simply an “illusion”, but her body appears to be corporeal in nature.

Yeah, I agree, the Colonel had no interest in the POW one way or the other. He was just following orders, and I’m sure he considered having a babysit a troublesome prisoner to be a pain in the butt.

One also has to understand how the military works. Who gets sent to Tule lake is not a decision made by the MPS. That’s a higher-up administrative decision.

I also can’t think of any reasonable explanation as to how Lieutenant Ota knew Chester’s name. The writers are trying SO hard to fool us into thinking that he was possessed.... I think we just have to roll with some of this stuff!
