I’m glad you mentioned it. That ten year thing was one of the reasons I got into destiny also. I’m open to change but based on the hours put in I wouldn’t mind if my characters carried over to D2.

I’m new to the souls formula. My first Souls type game was Bloodborne. So far still one of my favorite PS4 titles. I thought it would be awesome to see a cyberpunk Souls type game. Imagine a Souls game set in a Blame! (Tsutomu Nehei) world!

Slightly off topic but has anyone encountered the shanks that don’t attack? They’re either welding or scanning an area. They don’t attack. I haven’t completed the dlc so I’m not sure if they’re part of a quest.

I think they stepped away from the 4k because they feared that the name would scare away people who don’t own a 4k tv like myself.

Based on this trailer I think it looks like it could be fun. I wouldn't have called it metal gear though. Could have been a separate IP. But I'm sure Konami didn't want to pass up the opportunity to make some extra bucks off the name.

I’m a “Hideo Fanboy” I guess. If he made a game about people getting sucked up into another dimension fine. But if he named it “Metal Gear anything” I would be disappointed. This just seems like a stretch. In my opinion the game itself doesn’t look bad. Just not a Metal Gear.
