When has anyone had criminal charges brought up due to what they say? If not, and all that happened was that they were criticized, then, no, free speech is not being attacked. How many times does The Root's staff need to explain that criticism is equally so an exercise in free speech?

And this is exactly an example of why revolutionary ideas/concepts can’t be brought into fruition via parliamentary procedure; regardless of “voting” the power and institutions (at least partly) lie in the oligarchy-esque party system. 

The more fame and money people have the more disconnected they tend to become. There are SO MANY black comedians who aren’t problematic or lazy to spend energy on Dave Chappelle.

I’m just a barista and I’m embarrassed when I royally fuck up at work. Do these pigs not pay attention to the news? Even if they get away with it (which they usually do) with the publicity, investigation, social media blowup, etc., is it worth it to be such an asshole and violate how many laws/civil rights?

As a Starbucks barista for nearly four years, working on both coasts, it is not millennials that spend $7+ on a drink every day. It’s the middle aged people who get their kids one and/or old people who just order whatever big, colourful drink is on the promotions board.

EEhh, kinda a bad comparison; everyone knows cancer exists, we know its symptoms, and we don’t doubt people who claim they have cancer/tumor. We have a healthcare industry and medical community to address, research, and help cancer/caner patients.
