Well I guess if you don't mind unnecessarily destroying nutrients it works. Not that juice is terribly good for you anyway. It's empty calories, much like soda or milk. Fruit has fiber and fills you up. Juice doesn't. It's mostly sugar. And everyone gets enough Vitamin C already.
There's a reason kids' toys use batteries. Anything with a cord running to a household electrical outlet has a potentially lethal amount of electricity running through it. Even worse that this is DIY "electricians".
