I can see that being done as an official policy, but I just can’t imagine a FA going off on a customer as part of a ruse to get her to vacate her seat in order to give it to somebody else.

Online, I have to compete with everybody in the world. At Best Buy, I’ve got maybe a few hundred opponents, tops. Last year I got a great deal on a laptop at Staples, managed to just walk in through the door with no competition, because who goes to Staples anymore, right?
