Yes. Yes. Yes.
I want to love it. I do. But it's a little too hap-hazard. The idea was clearly better than it's execution. I hope someone coughs up some dough and gets this little project back to the dream. But I refuse to validate someone else's poor choices and questionable taste.
I'm buying the Red one. Because I believe in Bono.
That is also an amazing logo. Griffins are arguably a better logo in a lot of ways, I think. What we need is a centaur or something to really step it up.
Excellent read Jason. Seriously great research. I for one, am astounded how the commenters just filtered in to add to this man's crazy, ballsy legacy. Maybe his story will gain more traction because of it.

well done.
True, true. It's the time difference. Never seems to come to mind.
They'll love this in China. Huge on the Buicks over there...
I now know how best to rebadge a WRX wagon as well. Man, good day at the office.
Nostalgia aside, here is GM's chance to rebadge Chevrolets with a bad-ass lion. It's a much more fitting emblem for the trucks and sporty cars than that paralellogram bowtie thing with a spotty history. Forget that... how vague and limp. Get a lion.
These cars make you feel invincible in those conditions. Predictable, forgiving, plenty of power, intuitive feel...
Yeah, I believe the Roman roads and their carts carry the lineage all the way forward to modern rail. At least in and around the "empire."
Thanks for the outstanding write-up. That kind of thought experiment just makes you wonder what other kind of amazing advances were left to rot in the barns of time. DaVinci and the like cannot be the only prolific inventors/hackers of their time... can they?
