Huge oof. Brazil is my favorite film so this is especially painful. But it also stars Palin so maybe it cancels out? As long as Jonathan Pryce isn’t a right-wing chud as well.

Browsing Apple TV+’s catalog is like stepping into a portal to an alternate universe. It’s full of expensive-looking movies and shows I’ve heard absolutely nothing about.
Crackle was truly ahead of its time, wasn’t it?
If y’all are sleeping on America Says, you need to wake tf up. It’s a great show and JMH is so funny on it. I’m not sold on Split Second yet but I’ll take more JMH in my life any way I can.
At least Seacrest isn’t, as far as we know, a conservative climate change denier.
Correction: Wheel tapes on the Sony lot in Culver City. It hasn’t been in Burbank since 1989 lmao.
Me: Mom can we get some Russell Simmons?
Lmao that’s so dismissive and not even close to accurate. STEM chuds like yourself need to get it through their heads that soft sciences are indeed real sciences
To your point, the military-video game connection is actually less abstract than what’s been discussed so far. The US Army literally put out an FPS mil-sim game during the height of the Iraq War called America’s Army, with the explicit, stated purpose of encouraging enlistment.
I’ve never seen anything with him in it and I still hate his guts. I can’t quite explain why; he just exudes an energy I strongly dislike.
I feel like this is partly Mazda’s fault for their goofy naming system. I drive a CX-3, which one would think is based on the Mazda3 platform, but is instead based on the Mazda2. The one based on the 3 is the more recent CX-30, which sorta makes sense but also not really. Then you have the whole CX-5 vs. CX-50 thing,…
Looks like a glorified Slingshot to me lol
I think the difference between an FPS and 3PS is much less significant than the difference between a turn-based RPG and an ARPG. The latter two are fundamentally different types of games that require completely different player skill sets.
HBO Exec: That’s it! You’ve saved And Just Like That!
Note: Che Diaz died on the way back to their home planet
I highly doubt it. The subheading is in direct reference to the headline, which probably just excluded PTA for clarity and brevity, and because Spielberg and Scorsese definitely have more clout in the industry.
Over the weekend, The Flash’s per-theater average was $13,000.
First of all, what an incredibly offensive generalization to make about an entire continent. Second, the vast majority of Americans have an income/net worth that is considerably closer to that of an impoverished person in the developing world than to that of a billionaire.
He announced a separation with his first wife (allegedly due to him not wanting kids and her wanting them, if online scuttlebutt is to be believed) almost exactly six months before he had a kid with Olivia Munn, which didn’t exactly endear him to the public.
It was such a trip when I saw his name mentioned in an AP News article this morning. I knew he was on some weird Branson-type shit since leaving the games industry, but I didn’t know he was the damn president of an exploration organization that’s been around for over a hundred years. At first, I misread the article…
