If he was just some random person on the street hitting her with a belt like that, any reasonable person would call it assault.

It's not like it was a quick spank - he was assaulting her with a belt. Just because it may have happened to him when he was a kid doesn't mean it's not a crime.

Went to the game with my wife (both RU alums) and made it halfway through the first quarter before the cold/wetness got to her and she wanted to leave. Seeing EL lead the team out was worth the trip.

Apple should just hire you.

Sorry, they're too busy making sure that people don't leave legitimate one- or two- word comments.

The asking for help part is not bad, it's the asking for help before you've exhausted all the other tools at your disposal. A quick google will probably solve most basic computer problems much more efficiently than trying to explain the answer over the phone.

The first few paragraphs of the article speak to that.

I reread your comment to see if the unnecessary capitalization was a hidden message, but it wasn't.

The manic ramblings on that site seem totally consistent with someone who ate a pound of cereal marshmallows for breakfast.

Because it is a good deal - you're not "buying a new iPad," you're paying $100 for a battery and you're getting a fresh new iPad wrapped around it. Not sure on the exact pricing now but I'm pretty sure you can't just buy a new iPad for $100.

Yeah, I don't think it necessarily fits for all games but good on the Battlefield team for being clever and not just accepting that the game won't look as good on the 360.

So then why didn't you just make that post?

I think that the game would run the same since pulling the textures from the hard drive is inherently faster than pulling them from the optical drive.

Did Ask Jeeves even have any type of natural language functionality? I always thought it was just a normal search engine.

According to gdgt, the beta tag basically means that there will be more languages added in the future. It didn't seem to mean beta in the traditional sense.

I assumed the people you were shooting were wearing all black and facemasks, but the quality is kind of low so I can't tell for sure.

If people have a problem with anything, it should be the gunning down waves of people part. Race or ethnicity shouldn't be a factor.

Awesome except for Gears of Brick. Bricks of War, much better.
