Hey, Arnold Has A Brain Contusion
By that logic Reach is just a "version" of Halo:CE. Notch said that the games don't share any code, so it's not a new version of the same game.
@bbilbo1: I hate that graphic. As far as I know, he hasn't said one way or another how the 360 version of the game will be available to people who bought during alpha. Whoever made that graphic is just being a hostile douche for no reason. At least wait until there's a reason to be upset.
He literally plays AFTER waking up.
@MichaelPalin: I'm outraged that Kotaku told me there is a final boss. In fact, I'm double outraged that they told me the game ends! I thought it would just kind of loop on, like, forever. How dare you Kotaku!
Everyone will just file your comment under "didn't bother watching the video but still felt the need to comment." The capture card was explained within the first minute, so it doesn't take too much effort to not sound ignorant.
Every time an xkcd post shows up on Giz without the alt text I die a little inside.
@Meet_Bob: nope, it's under general settings - usage. I think it's 3GS and up though.
@Helis: You said the mortar was clunky
People who bitch about DLC bother me the most. When Reach was released, I remember reading comments from some people complaining that there weren't enough multiplayer maps, and that the first map pack should have been included at launch. Nevermind the fact that the full game went gold months before the map pack was…

@nfletcher2: Almost as annoying as the the posts that give you one paragraph and then a link to the other gawker site that has the rest of the post. Nothing like inconveniencing your readers to drum up some pageviews.
@ddiiggss: And also, obviously, give people a chance to get Portal a few days early.
@Arctic Tabasco: It makes perfect sense. It seems the whole plan for the ARG was to use Portal's hype to promote some cool indie games, and this is just the final push of that promotion.
It seems that most people fall into 2 distinct categories: the cool, reasonable people who think that this is a neat idea - indie games (and developers) get a spotlight and get introduced to some people that may have never given them a chance before, people who want to play Portal have the opportunity to get it a…
@Jayne-Cobb: Just out of curiosity, have you played any of them?
@Prosthetics: a little off topic, but the most fun job I had in college was waiting tables. If you can find a cool place with cool coworkers, you'll make good money and possibly find a solid group of friends to game/hang out with. I kind of miss it now that I'm done with school.
A friend got in drunken fight and had a gushing head wound. He held a roll of toilet paper to his head while I drove him to the ER. The nurse at reception barely looked up and asked what the problem was. The absurdity of the question made us both laugh, which she didn't like. She gave him paperwork, which he…
I keep waiting for Amazon to add a an option to 3D print the item, but so far no dice.
