I don't know if I've ever tried that exact combination, but I agree with the premise. For years I've been telling Corona-lime drinkers to get High Life or PBR or whatever's cheapest, because the whole point of the lime is to either add to the blank slate (in PBR's case) or hide the skunk (in Corona's).

He has a lot of room because he's done giving out the cash you idiot.

just watch City of God. I think you get a pretty good idea

I'm unfortunately not surprised that this post takes a "really, the problem is the SYSTEM" approach. The system certainly sucks but I can't imagine what sort of coverage Jez would give this were it a Republican.

At least 8 players on each team - 9, if you don't count the keeper - play the entire 90+ minutes, and will travel between 8 and 13 km, depending on passing skills and how much the other team has the ball. It gets tiring, even if you're a top-conditioned athlete, more so when you're playing in the heat. Someone hits

Not a huge soccer buff, but isn't calling Dempsey's goal a "fluke" a bit disingenuous? It looked like a fantastic run to me, with the shot angled in the one place he could go wide and still score.

Well, then, +1 for the incidental goose-stepping joke.

Please. Go to a foreign country, mention you're an American, and sit back and enjoy the misinformed commentary. The prevailing perception is that the US is all cowboys and California.

A yellow for dangerous play, at the VERY least.

Funny - I was thinking it was Jon Voight. But I can see both. Weird.

Because there is no way you'll ever see such flagrant flopping in a mainstream American sporting league.

Right, because Dwyane Wade doesn't flop just as badly? Soccer won't take off in the US because US citizens can't watch a sport that doesn't include 48 replays of each play for them to understand what happened.

You're right, I was kidding. Traffic in Cleveland is no worse than any small town in WV. There are only two major metropolitan areas in the US. SORRY CHICAGO & DC, YOU DIDNT MAKE THE CUT!

"Few expect the best player in the world to give up the ball in this situation". Except for every person who has seen him defer in tight moments of multiple huge games and situations in the past.

"And you, Mr Klinsmann, are no Kobe Bryant" Right? Because one of them was an athletic prodigy who turned pro as a teenager, shattered scoring records all over the place, became his country's greatest player of his generation, set all scoring records for its greatest team, won a bunch of championships, twice leading

People that insist on calling it Cote D'Ivoire are the worst...just shut the Hellas up already!

Visually, it looks more balanced because the lowest part of the letter is a curve and "appears" to be thicker than a flat line at the same height. If you put the curve slightly below the baseline, when paired with a flat base letter, it looks correct to the eye.

"What you didn't notice" and "it actually makes a pretty huge difference".

If you're hanging out online and notice that Google changed their logo by a pixel or two, it's time for you to go outside.
