Because the guy who scores the goal has to get the credit, doesnt make any sense otherwise. If you want to credit the guy who got fould with an assist or a “chance created”, fine. Its the same idea as a foul outside the area, you dont credit the guy who got fouled if the kick taker scores.

Which was the correct choice. Kamara is much more replaceable than an Argentinian playmaker in central midfield who is not an a-hole. Kamara was productive for Columbus but a lot of that is the service he received, thats just his style
