when they started analysing all the possible ways a conversation could go wrong, it felt like seeing inside of my own head.

“Also a bit confused with his reaction at the end.”
Yes, I had to rewind the ending because that gave me chills!
Saw B. Didn’t bother to read.
But the reason he’s not in the mood to watch it is the subject matter of the episode. This is an episode that didn’t need to be made, or at the very least should have had a much different script.
Making like of sexual harassment is offensive, because millions of women live with it every day, often with very little control over their autonomy. That’s why this is not just merely an episode in bad taste, but truly offensive.
The last one was actually really good.
You dropped in on the worst episode of the season? That’s your first? Nine episodes in? The fuck is wrong with you?
Seth MacFarlane himself and Fox. Not a good “first episode” to see. I recommend watching almost any of the other previous episodes via either Fox’s website or your cable company’s OnDemand service. I high recommend the episode from a couple weeks ago, “Majority Rule” which, for me, is the best episode of the season so…
How does a species that knows it periodically produces infectious fuck-hormones not bother to demand shit like gloves, or a full-body covering when one is in heat at work or off-planet? Or around kids? I take it they just don’t have schools or day-cares on the blue roofie alien’s home planet?
Let’s throw out one positive, though, that there wasn’t even a whisper of “gay panic” humor in the whole episode.
So what was the point in checking back in with Bortus and his partner again? Literally nothing happens there.
I saw Rob Lowe’s name in the opening credits so as soon as Darulio opened his mouth I knew it was him, but I still could hardly make his face out (that’s a compliment on the makeup).
I give this messy episode a F.
Isaac: You keep saying the Captain is “in to” the archeologist. I do not understand. Has the captain somehow entered Darulio?
Jeez, with their choice of karaoke songs, you’d think mankind hadn’t developed any new music, or pop culture of any kind really, for the last 400 years.
Yeah, let’s be totally clear - this guy had sex with people despite knowing he’d essentially drugged them so they had no real say in consent. That’s not okay and shouldn’t be played off for laughs.
This episode was extremely distasteful.
Okay, we can stop pretending that Orville is “more positive” than Discovery now. A future where humans are at war against a violent empire is pretty dark, but since it’s a prequel we know things turn out fine for the Federation, and that Star Trek’s luxury space socialist utopia will survive and grow. Whereas the…
Easily my least favorite episode.
The whole plot with Yaphit frankly never should have happened. Claire has been subject to constant sexual harassment, and the fact that it went unchecked for so long is awful.
The fact that Yaphit was allowed to constantly hit on Dr. Finn while at work and was never subjected to…
