Yeah! And then they can just fill the airwaves with absolute shit content that nobody wants or asks for so you have 1000, oh, let’s call them “channels”, for the one you actually want.

> No officer wants to take a life, and this kid has his future taken away.

Presumably they weren’t stealing _all the time_. Even if they record and keep all recordings, someone has to sit there and watch hundreds of hours of recordings to find the reason? I could totally see this happening in the security theatre monument that is the TSA. Let’s not forget they’re not even effective at the

“The” vibrator,  as you said. Don’t want to imply ownership.

One can imagine someone thinking they put a bunch of cash in their wallet and when they check later figure it somehow fell out when they opened it. Most people (weirdly) don’t think “authorities” might have had something to do with its disappearance.

Hm, yeah. Then you get built in oversight by insurance companies, since police will need to have insurance. They’re not going to want to go out on a limb to insure some idiot. Their standards will be around insuring responsible officers who err on de-escalation. And have good credit  and don’t drive dangerously

Yep, putting my foot firmly down on this one. If this is the future, I’ll happily keep an older car and maintain it well myself. I’m sure they’re not hurting for my money, but I’m quite happy to stand on principle and save money while I’m at it.

> So much of Bethesda’s latest RPG feels disconnected thanks to all the fast traveling you do to get around.

Don’t be mistaken. These displays of punishment are for show. They don’t give a damn about how their manufacturers rip off everyone under the sun (and put out dangerous or inferior products — just look at their papier-mâché infrastructure).

I wish I could be thrilled about not seeing another stupid challenger or charger on the road, but I know I’ll have to lay eyes upon these idiotic, punisher decal wearing, just-got-my-signing-bonus, tiny dick mobiles for at least another 3 years before they have all fallen completely apart and we’re finally rid of the

I’m right there with you. I was expecting at least double.

The most troubling part is that interest rates are currently very high for financing. I think auto makers have been spoiled by low interest rates. I really hope they have some wiggle room on profit margins or we’re headed straight for a crash. Especially with people having so much trouble paying their current auto

The absurd extension of “if you build it, they will come”. Basically people will buy it because it’s so exclusive and Rolls still has the cachet to make it work.

I might be the only one who feels this way, but I would totally watch a show about the ownership experience of cars like this. Like how do you even get it insured?! Who do you get to wash it?

I think the scrap heap price OR the actual price of this car in perfect condition would be a good reminder. It’s unfathomable to me that people can comfortably spend tens of millions on a car.

Why didn’t the dealer provide a carfax? That’s slimy.

Because dealers are de facto rackets. You literally have to have a criminal mindset in order to run one well.

I bet the majority of dealers in the US have this kind of bullshit going on. We should launch a widespread federal investigation that could hopefully lead to dismantling the dealer system entirely.

And they would be so mad if they could read those signs.

It’s funny. When I consider doing things that might ruin or end my life, I tend not to do them unless I completely understand the risks!
