Saw this live in Portland. I was astounded how many people left the theater early — then again, everyone here is so afraid to offend anyone, maybe I shouldn't be.

But they did give a fuck. Two or three if I recall.

Yep 100% agree. Their sinultaneous appearance and departure coupled with their seemingly 1-dimensional traits make me think they are both illusory.

Agents of SHIELD did a pretty amazing one with Skye in season 3 (I think). A no-cut sort of deal that was as well directed as it was choreographed. That's nothing to say of True Detective's projects shootout scene (not really a fight scene, but unbelievable, nonetheless).

Man, Eugene disappearing like that hit like an anvil, especially since he was easily the most endearing character of the novel, and so far, has been in the TV series. It definitely makes me more excited about the series going forward.

Zack, are you going to be running continuing reviews on this show? If so, everything just got even better.

It's transporting during warp not necessarily at longer distances. You can imagine moving matter information outside of a relativity context might be difficult even if both the source and target localities are within teleport distance would be more difficult than if they were outside of a warp bubble.

Explain how you're not a Rian Johnson fan…

They insist upon themselves.

J law and PSH were the only reasons I gave the hunger games movies any consideration. Those movies are tinted garbage otherwise.

The thing that annoyed me most about Nth Degree was everyone else but Barclay. Here's a ship whose sole purpose is supposed to be to explore the unknown, basically a game sexual partner for whatever to the cosmos, and the second someone turns up with a 4 digit IQ, everyone loses their shit, talking about "how to deal

The kind of calm and forgiveness Kevin had was very Jesus-y; then there's that whole resurrection thing…

Come on. Dude was dead. His shirt is drenched in blood and everyone reacts like he just got back from Iraq.

There's a game I played a while back where you're walking with your kid through a mall, and suddenly the kid just up and disappears and you're forced through a long, grueling sequence where your character is running through the mall yelling to find his kid. It's very unsettling and got under my skin in a way I

Virgil pretty clearly says he's in this purgatory because he's atoning. So I wouldn't say he sacrifices himself to save a white guy but I'd still say it qualifies for the magical negro stereotype.

I literally laughed out loud at the end of this episode. Whenever I feel wantonly manipulated, it's how I react.

Yeah if you're watching this show to get a resolution to the mysteries of it, you're in the wrong bar, buddy.
