I doubt it, honestly. The same people who swear up and down that it needed a manual would have immediately pointed to the price tag and compared it to the admittedly better fit-and-finish of the Cayman - and ended up not buying either one of them.

I think that folks who speak at least two languages (particularly those who’ve put in the arduous work of learning the languages from scratch) tend to be more sympathetic towards awkward material written by non-native speakers. From suffering through our own translation gaffes, we get how weird and complicated translat

Well, it IS called The Phantom Limb.  I take the missing chapter we can all “feel” should be there even though it was cut off as a sort of meta meaning of that name.

The thing is, given the limited character count of a tweet, it might not always be possible to actually impart the same nuance as the native language version, even if you were able to completely accurately translate it. Two characters in Japanese could require 30 characters to accurately convey in English. You could,

You say that like it’s logical, but we’re all very aware that people exist in this world that think the entire project hinges on them and their contributions. That the world would crumble if they left tomorrow. It’s not that far fetched to assume this of Kojima given how he slaps his name on the games.

If they’re trying to upsize to a SUV, they’re not in a tight financial situation. I get why they would want an SUV (more space etc), but they should have just financed the car instead, probably would have worked out to the same costs in the end (and they would have had a car to sell afterwards). What I don’t

This argument that modern SUVs/CUVs are almost as good as sedans is tiresome. They’re not lumbering beasts like a modern 4Runner or Tahoe or any big SUV might be, but unless you’re driving the rare exception of say a Rav4 Hybrid, CUVs are largely mediocre efficiency wise. My Q5 averages 20mpg if I’m lucky. A 4cylinder

All fans of anything are a little bit irrational. That means everyone is a bit irrational, some more than others.

Reality is so fucking weird right now.

Yes but this is counterbalanced by the fact that you leave your house every morning with a full “tank”.

Its something so simple that piss people off.

FCA should cash in on the trend and offer different color options for the covers.

They have a point. You’re here, and that equals ad dollars. You think you’re being critical, but you’re the mark. Your choice to engage with the content out of spite is the point. You got played, and all because they know you’re too smug to just walk on by something you don’t like without whining about it.

This is like saying the Beatles are the most overrated band.  It doesn’t actually matter if you’re right or not, because you’re only saying it to pick a boring, tired fight anyway.

I’m reasonably certain that “Homo Demons” is meant as a species-variation name (like Homo Erectus, Homo Sapiens, etc.), rather than any sort of untoward reference.

...then again, this is the man who gave us about the most eighth-grade bit of wish-fulfillment pablum ever to explain Quiet’s mode of dress, and who

Let me list you a bunch of FWD based cars and tell me if they’re no fun to drive.

You wanna know how I know you’ve never driven one?

2 engine replacements?

Seems like Mazda wants to be remembered as the last mass-market producer to build seriously innovative (in the truest sense of the word) and driver-focused internal-combustion engine automobiles. If they build this in RWD I believe they will achieve this, while simultaneously upsetting the entire industry. Very Mazda.

My mom just picked up a 2019 Mazda3 and she loves it.  I was super impressed with the quality of the interior materials considering the price.  Good for Mazda for throwing down like this, hopefully it increases sales.  They deserve it.
