Some games have quite neutral delivery (e.g. the Mass Effect series). Some act like they’re a Saturday Morning Cartoon. I’ve never liked cartoons because of the unnatural voice acting, so I’d rather not have that in my games either.

I don’t get the hate about the voices. I mean sure they’re kind of bit odd, but among the arrangement of bouncy sound effects and jazzy soundtracks, they rather blend well and aren’t much of annoyance.

What menus? I do not get where theres tons of menus to “explore” because theres just your Character, Ship, Inventory, Mission, Planet. Thats it. There is no menu upon menu. And if people are out here getting lost in those? 🤣
