I’ve literally never beat a souls game, but I’ve found Elden Ring to be totally doable without cheesing. The secret is leveling up.

I think one is clearly better, it’s just not “optimal” for people who don’t like to experience any negative outcomes in a game. There’s no point in giving somebody the ability to make decisions if those decisions don’t have lasting consequences.
That’s pretty fucked up... but he’s not getting any money if I use his program, right? Like nothing materially changes?
What a fucking loser. You know he could be doing something important with skills like that. Instead he decides to ruin people’s gaming experience because he can. I’d keelhaul his ass if I could.
Honestly, sitting about 10 feet from my TV, I didn’t notice any arrows.
You’re assuming they care about immersion. These games aren’t a life sim, they’re a puzzle box. Entering discussions and searching for hints around how to beat it is part of the intended experience.
You know how we can tell you don’t work with artists much?
One problem. The game isn’t canceled. And I really don’t think it will be. Nintendo PR probably (rightly) guessed that public attention on Ukraine will subside in a few months, even if the war goes on. They’ll just silently drop the game then to recoup some of their costs.
Yes, this is fantastic for those of us with Johhny Bench hands. If you can’t palm a basketball, I’m afraid your hands might be too small to reach the sticks easily... but for those it fits, it really fits.
I doubted the hole, but your character at the start of the game has nothing to lose by dying. The only time you should be afraid of dying is when you have half a level’s worth of souls on you, IMO.
But the first bit of direction you receive via the first site of grace tells you to go to the church. (Leveling and mount occurs after 3 sites of grace have been found, no matter where they are. So unless you really suck...)
It’s really not that deep. The player has no reason to fear death at that point -- as they’ve gained nothing, they can lose nothing. And it’s an RPG that doesn’t hold your hand, you’re just supposed to go figure it out.
Also, jump attacks with long weapons give melee builds more range.
I still give a light exhale out of my nose.
To give them a little grace, I’m not sure they actually have a research specialist. Having to find content and write multiple long-form articles takes a lot of time.
Another hint: there’s a walkway above this guy you can shoot him from where he can’t getcha.
Yep. You can even use magic from horseback -- and switch in between by two handing either your casting item or your melee weapon.
You can dodge it lol
Yes
THE. DAMN. BOX. LOOKS. LIKE. EVERY. OTHER.
