I seriously wonder what the huge draw with XIII was? Especially since it was one of THE worst RPGs I've ever played, and the fact that it warranted two direct sequels is beyond my understanding.

Yeah, I've heard unsavory things about the guy too. I've really only seen some of his spoken word, and read a couple of his books, but there's too many of the stories like yours to ignore it. It's almost like he has two sides to him.
