you got to be joking. First of they are far far more then just a phones (try crazy small computer, gaming device, connection to endless information nearly instantly in the pocket and on and on...) . Second if it were 15 years ago people would be paying $10,000 for the same magical $500 "phones" of today.

says above records into h.264 and it also says it records uncompress out of the HMDI. Also says "less instances of rolling shutter distortion". For me I wait for 5d mark iii and hope it has a solid removable swivel screen and zero rolling shutter.
