Madame Hydra, maybe?
Madame Hydra, maybe?
How do we know Mrs. Fisher is actually dead or frozen? We didn't see her death, and even though the teens froze the adults, it seems like they might make an exception for her, as their leader, and the on remaining adult true believer in W.P.
Yeah, I agree. What made the book fascinating was how it defied expectations of an "alternate history" narrative. A big difference from the way the cover of the version I read advertised it: http://assets4.bigthink.com…
You don't have to look far! The 3-DVD set has just been released, and you can get it for under 20 bucks. Shout Factory did a great job with it, despite having to use the syndicated edits of the episodes.
Same here! I think most of the "I don't get it/it wasn't funny" crowd haven't actually watched a Lifetime movie before, and expected broad **jokes** instead of a straight, deadpan homage to this special genre. I'm sure there are a bunch of successful actors/comedians who would love the chance to do a straight-ahead…
Yes, I did. I'm going to need a recap at the beginning of episode five, because I can't remember where it left off…I didn't realize I'd have to wait so many weeks to dip into it again.
Good points about the pseudo-reality portrayed here about how reality shows work. I'm sure it creates more obvious drama ("will they pull it together in time for airing on Monday?"), but I'd like to feel I'm learning more about the actual process. That's something we'll never see in documentary form, so a drama…
Same here—I got a DVD player in 2000, and the floodgates opened, since the format seemed so great. Before that i just had a few pre-recorded tapes.
Unless I'm misunderstanding it, there seems to be the conceit that the show is happening in semi-real time, and each episode of Everlasting is recorded the week before it airs. I know The Bachelor is completed *well* before it airs (or at *as* it goes on air). I can't imagine a program this big being quite as real…
"some beef with Weiner" A hot dog?
Well they did another Lone Ranger movie, and the Legend of the Lone Ranger ('81) was a much bigger flop than Flash Gordon…
Colossus is a lot more fun to watch—this one is interesting but the ickiness of it wears on you. Odd trivia: both involve martini-drinking scientists.
Another triumph for Ted "Christmas With a Capital C" McGinley!
Dane Cook thanks you for the great idea!
Wow, so this will be like a zombie version of every single 70s TV cop show, then?
