Cut me some slack, Jack! Chump don’ want no help, chump don’t GET da’ help!

Normally, engine accessories are powered by ... belts driven by the engine’s crankshaft pulley.

3 automatic transmissions in 8 years, all dealer installed... no thanks, hard pass. Manual transmission with the 5.2 would be the only one I’d ever consider again.

Sadly the likelier situation is that none of this even happened, so we’re reading some loser’s loser fantasy.

What makes you think they care who was driving?

Rhode Island could probably just partner up with someone else.

As an engineer myself, don’t underestimate engineering stupidity...

Drives me nuts that reporters and editors are so fucking lazy when it comes to coverage of airlines. If a Jalopnik editor published a story about a Chevy Spark, and illustrated it with a photo of a Suburban, they would get fired.

As an official representative from the Brotherhood of Insufferable Pedants, I would like to invite you to our Tuesday meeting.

Came to the comments hoping someone said this, thank you for posting it.

Now playing

The Ivan Stewart Nintendo game was based on the late Mickey Thompson’s Off Road Racing series, which Ivan Stewart, Walker Evans and a very young Robby Gordon competed in during the late 80’s and early 90’s.

most sane people won’t get your joke, but i found it at a bit depressing.

I heard things were a bit manic just before the fire started.

This is the internet, so get out of here with your plausible scenarios. There’s simply no room for rational thinking or giving others the benefit of the doubt.

You can tell this is Australia as the car spins clockwise; American race cars only go counter-clockwise.

I think you have a different definition of “forced to the ground” than everyone else.  If there’s a gun being pointed at me and someone tells me to get on the ground, then I’ve been forced to the ground.

“When police arrived on the scene, the gun-haver—who claimed to have a license to carry the weapon—was forced to the ground. This guy is not being charged with anything.”

Such a weird way to phrase it. He obviously had a carry license or he would have charged with something. I doubt he was forced to the ground, but

Have a shot of whiskey. It drowns, and the beer chases, your blues away.

I am sad that I get this reference.

He got the boot from Scoot, and passengers had to boogie to make their destination, eh?
