somewhat unrelated, but while on the topic of backing up and such, is there a way to make my current ubuntu install into an ISO (with an "install" button and normal install steps) so somebody who really hates setting computers up can just install what I have already set up?

how would you fit all of that in something the size of an AA, without making it any larger?

The problem with switching OS's for me is that I don't often have enough time to completely customize it to my likings and making sure everything is compatible because I have school, and if I switch and something goes wrong, then I might be out of luck, so I will probably wait till christmas break in order to set

as a gmail and launchy user, I made a launchy command (could work with any app launcher that lets you put in a custom search like keybreeze or FARR) that not only lets you go to the compose screen, but also lets you input the email adress within the launchy bar,

Although it doesn't matter so much now, but the samsung nc-10 was the first netbook to be regularly achieving 6+ hours of battery life, if you get one and put in a SSD, or get one of the newer 9 cell batteries, you could actually be seeing around 10-11 hours of with wifi on and the brightness pretty much all the way
