Dropped in on my seventy year old uncle a few weekends ago and he was watching the PBS fundraiser about big bands, where Doris Day was one of the singers.  She obviously pushed his buttons since I had to ultimately change the subject before I heard too much.

Watched the last two eps of season one of The Wire for probably the seventh or eighth time.  Saw a ton of tournament basketball—suck it, Duke.

Can't wait to see the ratings for it.  They've easily lost half of their viewers and I can't imagine any new viewers will want to jump into this with the horrible word of mouth it's been getting.

Again, FUCK that hat.  I don't remind repeating myself where the hat is concerned.

Am I the only person who realized that was the TV wife of Ted Baxter from the old Mary Tyler Moore show?  Nice to see she's getting work.  Still has the same voice.
