If you have to ask, you obviously haven't been reading thousands of comments across hundreds of articles on the gawker sites for the past month or so.

Oh man, this guy is hilarious, reading the youtube comments.

First I see an article about a stupid app I've never heard of or could care less about being "less-shit" and then the second thing I see this morning is this article...

Sex sells, baby!

So we should start seeing some better (ie - cheaper) aftermarket versions of these soon, right?

worked for Hyundai so far...

Maybe I just haven't been fortunate enough to experience them, but I always get the impression that buildings nowadays are so ugly compared to these things that humans built hundreds of years ago. I know that structures are probably much safer, sturdier, easier to build, cheaper, etc., etc., but why aren't things made

No, I just loathe the new camaro.

@Tragic Apostrophe: I had a similar experience with my aluminum 13" MacBook. After less than a year of ownership, the lid (behind the LCD) bubbled out so bad the glass Apple logo (that glows when powered on) actually became detached and was floating around behind the screen. I took it in to get repaired, and they told

Oh when will Apple let people make some slim-line apps for the nano? That would be amazing... alternate watch faces and more exercise apps/sensor integration would probably make it my favorite gadget.

Another thought: why don't the cars just periodically check for the signal from the key, and then power down or something similar (slowly, somehow in a safe and controlled manner) if the signal is no longer present, which it would be once you started to drive away? Problem solved.

Wouldn't this method actually need four antennas? They just show the 2.5 GHz antennas used for relaying the signal between the person near the fob and the person in the car, but each of those would need another antenna to receive the signal from the fob and to transmit back to the car, respectively.

@iii moozez iii: Was just about to comment on that, then I remembered to show all discussions first. Good catch, sir!

@Baby Benz is a good DD: I don't know why but driving 50 mph on 620 is so hard for me. Those cops are everywhere though.

@ted.pro: Is it a battery, taped to a resistor, taped to an LED, taped to the battery?

@Weiner: Your name + that comment... I lolled

@cmdrfire: I would chalk it up to marketing. They annoy me too.
