Thanks for this article. If I never had another “hoppy” IPA again, it would be too soon. If I never had to choke down another molasses-y, pungent, “flavor”-packed green beer in a fancy hipster-designed label that a pal tries to serve me proudly (“Whatdaya think? Pretty intense, huh?”), I’m fine.

Thanks for this, for confirming my worst fears, and helping me avoid even bothering installing this trash.

It’s absolutely hilarious to me that people think it was either “lucky”, or even stupider, “scripted.

I was living up on the bedrock hills of the upper Haight at that time, in some flat with a few punk rockers and a 6' drag queen.
I ended up experiencing the quake in a hallway with hands braced to either side to avoid being tossed about, said queen clutching the back of my jacket screaming bloody death.

Thx!
I tried reading up on that, but no better for it. ;)

It’s both, in a way.
Most quakes are small, and not really all that scary. A tremble. A slow sway. Definitely a unique experience, but once you’ve felt a couple, it’s just a “woah. yup. quake there.” Even kinda fun. And most people in CA who’ve lived there more than a decade have felt a few.

I found it amusing how much she mirrors her father’s speech patterns, when attempting to show she has an “informed opinion” on a subject. D.T. uses that same “in terms of”, for the exact same purpose in almost every instance where speaking in a non-scripted press interaction.

While I completely agree with your statements re: Win7, and that it’s not going to magically stop working on the end date, my biggest issue was/is with that “common sense” point.

I want to address the photo you’ve used for this article:

Came here to also mention Linux Mint. Glad to see that was recommended.

Is this like the car version of keep your price tag/stickers on a hat?

Thanks for pointing that out. That information absolutely puts it in the “not good enough” category.

I’ve been all about this, for some time now.

I’ve always been a little fascinated, and flummoxed, by the (usually right-leaning) idea that because you’ve called something a thing, that it is in fact that thing.

How has that not been set on fire yet?

Maybe I’m missing something obvious here, but if he was “never his attorney”, then there’s no attorney-client privilege, correct?

There should be a moratorium on old articles appearing in the “trending” dropdown.
Super annoying to see what we think is a new bit of news, to find it’s over a year fucking old. (I’m looking at you “samurai slices baseball”)

I really want one of two things to happen in the debates; either they cut tRumps mic when the other person is speaking allowing for none of that interrupting bullshit. Or, failing that, the other person mutters “lies.” into their mic whenever tRump utters a falsehood. (that should be fairly often)
