(I still harbor a small bit of resentment at Sony for making my expensive (bought new at launch) purchase feel “obsolete” so soon.)

100%. I stopped shopping there last year, and don’t miss it a bit.
I straight up guffawed. The last 24 hours have been high comedy. And that little skit succinctly captures it.
Incredibly sad. That man had heart for days.
Honestly, in this instance, I would say both are true.
I thought this looked great! For like 15 seconds, anyway. Until the combat.
That whole “keep-them-floating-in-the-air-on-combo-punches” thing? Cartoony. Arcade. And since I’m guessing that 85% of the game is “beatin’ up on the baddies”, I suspect this game’ll be in the $20 bargain bin/PlayStation Plus Free Game soon.
All I can do is think of Witcher 3. And then the cyberpunk setting. And then the time they’ve put into this.
And then SQQQQQUUUUEEEEEEEEEE....eeeee..
One of the movies I *wish* I had listened to the “don’t do it” whispers about is “Deadgirl”.
So many, many things wrong with the movie, from premise to final cut.
Damn. I “invested*” in the AC66U a few years ago, and it apparently doesn’t make the cut.

A fair and diplomatic response, sir/ma’am.
Please. That kind of allusion to an“altruism” in the motivations of LEOs, as well as military personnel, is such garbage. They’re not volunteers, doing the work out of the great goodness of their benevolent hearts. In both instances they are paid fairly well, have great benefits, and practically bulletproof job…
*interest falls to ZERO*
With a sub-nesting in the “Why I don’t use iProducts” category.
For the past year, I’ve been seriously tempted to post “Still playing Witcher 3" over and over again.
going to happen here too
Ah! I’ve never looked into most of the re-releases of PS2 stuff, because I’m always struck by how... well, frankly, crappy they look. Haha. It’s hard for me to get past how dated they look and feel.
But maybe I’ll give that a look today.
I’ve not even heard of it, but I’ll go Google it up straight away.
Functionally, mechanically, it is. Straight up FPS. On rails-ish, for the most part. Hallway crawler, with some neighborhood running. Some double-back to solve a puzzle. Etc. You know the type.
But it infused an atmospheric quality that really made it shine. Fan-freakin-tastic audio design, the little things that make…
I actually quite enjoyed Dead Space, and as a side note, the first F.E.A.R.
Dead Space, while still having the hallway crawling, door-unlocking aspects of the REs, it had a bit of an RPG feel, and great fighting/exploring mechanics that kept it feeling novel.
Ah! I wasn’t aware of the RE/TEW connection, but yes, that makes COMPLETE sense.
I did like the “open world-ness” feeling of TEW2, and it was pretty creative, design-wise both in some combat and the “stealthing”. But after a certain point pretty early, nothing surprised me, nothing caught me off-guard, and so nothing…
