There’s a lot of choice in the world.  You are free to do as you please, just as others should be free to do what they (rightfully) want.  If you want to face your opponents, fine, as long as neither physically assaults each other.  Neither side same to blows in this “story”.

..America isn’t a true democracy. One person doesn’t equal one vote. In a presidential election, a voter in Florida, for instance, has a much larger impact than a voter in CA. That’s messed up. So I don’t blame people who (rightfully) think their vote doesn’t matter.

Being charitable is not “politically active”. It’s being charitable. And unless Lynch is running for office and he’s not stumping for anyone (which would be illegal if he were doing community work on behalf of a candidate) it wouldn’t be worth any votes, particularly if he’s actively telling people not to vote.
