Based on his career, I’m assuming when Oher confronted the Uber driver, he speed-rushed outside and sacked Oher’s friends.

No, yeah, I get it. He was just stopping his momentum as he slid past the bag. With Pedroia’s leg. And his spikes.
He didn’t want to get up and prove his manhood until it was absolutely safe to do so.
I don’t trust commando bros who escalate a situation that is clearly calming down before they get involved.
She actually had calmed down quite a bit until Mr. “I’m a badass alpha male” got out of his seat and started yelling. He should have just stayed sitting down and shut up. People intervening like that almost always escalate the situation even further.
Yeah I noticed everything seemed to be de-escalating until what’s his face got out of his seat and started yelling. Then the gal is back to being super upset all over again. I don’t know why so many grown males think they can make things better by yelling at people.
A few armchair quarterback thoughts:
They already apologized, said they’re removing the crew member from duty pending further investigation, and upgraded the woman and her family to first class for the rest of their international trip. It says so right in the article. This seems like the proper response to me.
No it wasn’t. The Raptors play disgusting boring basketball and Casey should be fired. That “run” to the conference finals was fucking painful to watch.
I don’t care if you’re a fan of the Ostriches. As the great Billy Madison put it “That’s assault brotha!” He broke a stick on a mans neck then came back around to violently and aggressively target his head. If I can see this as a filthy Flyers fan then surely any reasonable person can see this deserves at least 3…
He was clean-shaven before the game started.
I am going to give some advice to people, wholly unsolicited.
Probably too many words for a headline so the author just went with a title that sounded good, although factually incorrect.
Agree. I didn’t see the brake checking a-hole cause the accident. Seemed to me the Cobalt (before losing control) was ahead of that Malibu and for whatever reason started swerving before losing it completely. I wouldn’t be surprised if the driver did something that took her concentration/eyes off the road. Probably…
Brake checking is an immature action and a sign that the driver cannot handle the stress of handling traffic. You don’t do it.
The way I see it, the Cobalt was a left lane cruiser. The Malibu got fed up, passed on the right (while the Cobalt attempted to accelerate to prevent the Malibu from passing), cut her off, and brake checked her (what does this prove to a left lane camper?). She then attempted the same maneuver with a much slower car,…
True, but speeding up to pass and then cutting them off to immediately hard brake goes from, “back off my bumper” to “I intend to make you crash” It’s definitely an action that should not be shrugged off. Both parties have fault for sure though.
Totally agree. The brake check had nothing to do with the crash.
Edit: Didn’t realize the malibu was still in front. Thought it was the Grand Am because of the resolution.
Obviously, brake checking someone at that speed is ridiculously unsafe and a major asshole move in any case. But still, I don’t see how it’s the brake-checkers direct fault here. Surely he caused her to be more…
