Thank you! Very articulate and well argued.

Hahaha... this is so funny. "JTT" came up the other day and I had to explain to one of the guys who he was.
You've hit the nail on the head. *Dream* being the operative word. There are people all over the world who commit crimes for the sole purpose of being placed in jail where they will have food provided for them and shelter and maybe, if they are lucky, a better education. Providing expensive surgery and top tier…
RE:movies leading to same discussion. I find sitting down at home to a movie is the same as sitting down to watching a TV show. But watching a movie in theatres is _so_ much more likely to initiate a discussion. For one, you've paid $15 so you are hanging on to every one of those bloody words. And secondly, movie…
This is so true. I hear scary loud noises that feels like being hit in the face by a big paddle of panic. Which fortunately only happens after 3 or 4 Red Bulls after several hours of D&D. It actually enhances the experience. (Unlike when I used to have 3 or 4 Red Bulls before sitting down for an exam).
"I chose to wear the dress I wanted, not the dress that was Jim's first choice." - this is why I cannot watch reality TV. I know people out there exist that are this stupid, but hard evidence would break my brain.
Let's not forget that it is pretty risky actually coming out of the closet as a teen. It's possible that teens that are out are risk takers versus their closeted counterparts that would be filed under "straight" for the purposes of this study.
Just lovely! "I'm still the same me". Sometimes you gotta rock the shape shifting. Keep life interesting.
This was quite good. I feel obligated to point out that as "sexy self", she came across a lot more agreeable and flirtatious. And although I 100% agree that people respond a lot more positively to beautiful people, I feel like part of that is mental. When people are looking their best, they smile more and talk more…
LOL! And it's even in the article. Oh wow. Major fail. Thanks! *sigh* Is it Friday yet? Oh look! It is! *phew*
I clearly cannot read these before I'm done my coffee. I initially thought "Parent Trap situation" was an actual legal term.
Me too! I read Thursday, rolled my eyes (oh celebrities and their baby names), continued reading the sentence and then felt guilty.
Ditto! As far as pop music goes, it is the most digestible of the various options. And the both of them are pretty hardcore (like seriously, Cory Hart probably should have died multiple times).
What about Sony leaking everyone's personal data? Can we throw them in jail?
I like Mariah and Nick Cannon (you know a bit, but not enough to hang out with them or whatever). They seem like they're going to be just fine. He's obviously crazy about her and they seem to be rising to the challenge of parenthood quite well. I don't know many famous parents who would spend enough time with their…
the old "don't hate the playa, hate the game" lesson needs to be in play. (And actually, in my experience, that's usually what comes across.)
Your dog is so adorable!!
You can't apply logic to the words and actions of an illogical person.
ha! your girls are lucky to have such a level headed parent. The shotgun comment, that's rich!
@StuckOnRepeat Yes! It is important. Just like personality, and eye colour and temperament, and intelligence. So many things are running through your head as you're raising little versions of yourself, I don't think anyone would call that self-absorbed. But it's the idea that strangers think they *know* your child or…
