@rdVark: there are horrible vengeful people everywhere; in every line of work. But the majority of people aren't going to take out their aggression on a person who doesn't tip. This is a person who wants to be horrible who uses the lack of a tip to take out her masochistic tendencies. Tipping (or not tipping) isn't

@jianna: go solo! Nothing is more invigorating than seeing a film or going to dinner by yourself.

@blah: I've been dying to see that movie since the fake trailer came out on the Grindhouse films. Trejo is such a bad@$$ and I love him everytime I see him. (Also, if you like this movie/want to see it, you've gotta check out Rodriguez first film (series). Desperado (the second one) is one of my all time favourite

@Penny: more washed up like Travolta was before he did Pulp Fiction. A washed up career can lead to some really ballsy choices.

@Mrs. Stephen Fry: she was in that movie with Meryl Streep which I thought she did a very good job in. But seriously, how can you not be awesome when you share the screen with Ms. Streep?

@buymecandy: in fact, when I heard Rodriguez had cast her in his movie I was surprised he would take such a risk considering this movie it sure to be a huge cult hit. Good for her for landing a part in his movie

@G-Ram: try commenting on a photo of hers or something. Like: "awesome! When did you go to Japan?" And then you can pretend you're planning a trip and ask if she'd mind giving you some pointers. That'll tell you right then and there if she'd be interested. But maybe not: "you're really pretty when you're drunk". FB is

What film did Depp play a trans character?

I agree that it a self-esteem issue in question. Unfortunately, many people that do procedures like this or plastic surgery come out of the ordeal just as unhappy with their physically appearance as they were prior to the procedure.

@dawnerni: they will get their evil genius/musical genes from Dr. Horrible, their intelligent/medical genes from Doogie and their suaveness/awesomeness genes from Barney.

@yepyepyep: I think Alanis is absolutely beautiful! Her eyes are so striking. Give me Alanis over Scarlett any day!

@MemilyBimble: that's the only real frame of reference of a trans FTM character. If there were many characters on TV that enjoyed varied backgrounds, I'm sure people wouldn't automatically think of Boys Don't Cry. Hopefully Degrassi can help make more trans characters commonplace.

I love that I live in a time where a show that has this much media attention (not just in Canada, I hear it is popular in the US as well), can do a story line about trans people. And do it from a perspective of acceptance as opposed to how trans characters were rejected before. Deeming something acceptable and normal

@worker bee by day: I think you hit the nail on the head. People have the right to seek out places (and things) that make them happy. If I didn't want to be surrounded by dogs, I wouldn't go to a dog park. That being said, there are (as there should be) plenty of dog-free places. And forgive me for comparing dogs to

I'm not sure about those reasons. I think the only reason two people shouldn't "hook up" is because of reason 1 (or if they are otherwise involved with another person in a monogamous relationship). 2/3 aren't really hindrances to hooking up, just dating. 3 could possibly be an issue, but I feel as you get older, being

@Honeybee74: It does intensify "the chase", I suppose!
