Maybe that’s it: AoU Quicksilver made no impression on me. And truth be told, I went into the movie already over the actor playing him.

He is a delight as Quicksilver. The Avengers QS was turrible. Just turrible.

So a while back I saw maybe the first eight epidsodes of Z-Nation. I stopped watching it because of DJ Qualls’ character. I will try again because I hear good stuff.

I could have watched two hours of these two’s tumultuous, hilarious relationship. If there is a season 2, please make it about Denise Hemphill and Chad Radwell. Emma Roberts can show up wearing those amazing clothes, but she’s not allowed to speak.

It would have a better chance on the CW. The CW has some of the best science fiction and fantasy programming on cable TV. But I think, like with Almost Human, the lead is over 25, so he’s aged out of being eligible for the CW. Almost Human could have been a great show.

I’m in that camp, too. My teeth were clenched in the quiet after the shot of that kid with the gun walking behind Carl. When Michonne was looking at Deanna’s plans, I kept expecting to hear a gunshot.

Cisco and Ravi are both so excellently clever that if they got together, they’d either be the best thing ever or cancel each other out.

I keyed into Meers because Meers looked like Cameron Diaz or Drew Barrymore did in the Charlie’s Angels movie (yes, I have bad taste) when they dressed as men. But I looked at Meers’s hands, and they looked manly enough, so I was thrown off of the scent.

You may be on to something. Have any of the murdered people besides Boone and candle girl been set up by the killer in an after-murder tableau? I want to say no, but my memory’s not the best.
