I agree. As someone who unabashedly loves It's Always Sunny and Girls, I've never understood why someone would dislike a show merely because one or more of the protagonists are behave badly.

Was thinking the same thing. My pick would be seeing a completely unknown Pearl Jam as the bottom act on a three band bill in 1991 with Soul Asylum headlining and the Jayhawks in the middle spot. This was at the Metro in Chicago several months before Ten was released. Although the place was packed to the hilt by the

There were a handful of really good performances by the Replacements on that tour ( I was lucky enough to see one at Pine Knob in Clarkston MI), but for the most part the band was miserable and had no interest in being there.

Your loss on that one!

Why Maria McKee isn't a household name I'll never understand.

I went to a U2 concert in the mid 80's just to see their opener: Lone Justice.

Diehard Cheap Trick fans like myself have plenty of stories to tell on this topic. Although the band has shared the bill with a ton of great bands over the years like Pearl Jam and Squeeze, they also are unfortunately favorites of many atrociously bad hair and faux metal bands, along with countless 70s has-beens..

Relinquish? I'm sua sponte extending his membership for the simple reason that CBB is the least funny thing every in the history of television (and podcasts).

The Descendants was absolutely not an "extremely bad film."

Pacino. De Niro may have taken more jobs just for the cash and sometimes seems to be going through the motions, but I prefer that to the festival of scenery chewing that pretty much defines Pacino over the last few decades.

Whenever I see Jones, all i can think of is the fact that she was the single worst host in the entire history of SNL.

Missed the premier, but have to say that the world needs more Timothy Hutton. Why he hasn't gotten more (and better) roles over the past 20 years is beyond me.

Robbie looks like someone took Jacobs and Jaime Pressly and mushed them together.

It took Woody Allen 20 years to figure out how to strike a balance between drama and comedy (Hannah & Her Sisters being that occasion).

Wait. Dennis Miller was ever funny?

I was delighted to discover that Tim was there. A ton of Twitter photos of him are floating around today. I'm pretty sure Taran Killam posted at least one photo with Tim. That being said, they should have featured some of his work — I think the only thing which made it in was a quick montage cut of "I Married a

Andy Kaufman. He didn't return earlier this year on the 30th anniversary of his "death" and he didn't show up last night. Okay Andy, this is getting a bit ridiculous now.

Brad Hall was twice the WU anchor as Miller (despite the fact that they didn't use the update name at the time).

BTW, the above post referred to Piscopo, not the great Brad Hall.
