Scully's been planning this heist since 1979, just waiting for the right pieces to fall into place. Now that there's an established two consecutive year streak of two people in the precinct trying to outwit each other in heists, it is time to strike.

That would be a bold, crazy move and I'd love it 1000%.

I'm happy to have been ignorant to where it was going so every reveal worked its magic on me. I can't say how much fun I had watching this episode, despite it not really working "in universe".
