The soufflés are fantastic.

What are you eating there?  They have amazing sandwiches and pasta and soup.  I’m a dude who hates salad and frou-frou bullshit and I love panera.

They’re a dependable, reasonably quick choice when you want fast takeout that isn’t pizza or a hamburger.

Eh, if you are gonna make that type of comparison then at least say its a Texas-themed Chilis, cause Applebees is complete trash. Texas Roadhouse actually cooks their steaks pretty well.

It’s not due to mixing up hands, it’s because airbags were invented. Having your hand in front of the wheel would be bad in the event the airbag is deployed.

Lots of gems from my driving instructor.

One of the older brother grease monkeys in our neighborhood told me that if you matched the revs just right, you could shift a manual without pressing the clutch pedal. I tried this repeatedly in our VW bug and it did nothing but grind the shit of the transmission.

Really though, I kinda hate Beetles but this thing is wonderful.

Anybody who has a problem with this should be IP blocked for eternity.

This. Dealers hate cash deals. Never tell a dealer you’re paying cash until the price is secured in writing. Only then should a cash dealer pull out a checkbook.

Vince, your comment could be a little misleading if you’re talking about paying cash at a dealership. Not all cars have $3-5k margin of profit. As a matter of fact, a dealership hates cash deals because they lose money on what they earn on securing the loan which the more loans a finance person can

Please compare to the sales of Denali, Platinum edition domestics and the markups and then divide by the cost of the mandated equipment. If you get a number less than 10 I’d be amazed.

You got good credit, you more then likely will get a free loan as in 0.0% for up to 60 months. Rather hard to turn it down.

Part of it is all the NHTSA mandated safety requirements and CAFE standards, which then the cost of these are getting passed down to the buyer as expected. All new cars must come with a backup camera, whether you want one or not...that’s going to cost you extra.

Sometime you should drive a 50+ year old ‘basic transportation’ car, then you will know why they cost 10x as much now.

On the other side of the coin, there is an equal or greater number of people who do want driverless cars. Human drivers are tired/lost/inebriated/distracted/block intersections/speed/cause problems... I’m so over it. I can’t wait until the human factor is gone.

hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

My freshman year of college in my public speaking class we had to give a speech that taught people a skill. By popular demand I gave a speech about how to change a flat tire because so many people in the class said they didn’t know how to change one and wanted to hear someone give a speech on it.

1. Run flats run for a rather limited range. 50 miles or so. So you pretty much have to drop what you’re doing and head over to get that fixed. Which can be difficult as flats can happen after hours, or on weekends.
