Born in Wisco, college in Wisco — friends and family that identify as Bucks fans: zero.

Reminds me of the old Ed Radlauer books I used to read in grade school.

Fox Searchlight pictures presents, Tom Hardy as “The Cut Man.”

Yup, and tack on a cellphone and evading arrest ticket for good measure, and maybe with an upcharge to reckless driving to account for the plea bargain.

Went home with the same coworker three years in a row after the party. We did not do this for any of the other 364 days during each of those 3 years. Pretty nice secret Santa present for the office.

What is “What happens when James Murphy says make me look like Frank Whaley?”

Just wait, someday the seven foot wide Herschel Walker shoulder mcpads will come back. Baggy sleeved player list? I’ll start. Go.

Goddamnit Packers, we had this classic match up locked up last year. And then McCarthy went McCarthy. Such a wasted opportunity for one last old school Super Bowl.

Meh, every good boy does fine eventually.

Those do not look like 5950 hats- did new era lose the contract?

My 7th grade football team endorses this football fashion choice.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Carver was a Star Trooper before he made Sergeant?

This story was primed to go in a lot of strange directions with the “blowing,” craigslist, boonies, — this could have been the lost “Deliverance” Charlie Sheen outtakes.

Jesus dude, I didn’t think you could paint a more lonely and disconnected image, and then you come back with round 2. .

Yes indeed, but when you are trying to live out the dream and go to a good school there are not so many options (if you are staying in the midwest) — looked at Brown, Carleton, Northwestern, etc. Eventually ended up at Northwestern so everything worked out fine.

Of course - it was clearly an excellent school, but like I said I was still in “footbaw!” mode at that point in my underdeveloped brain-self.

I was recruited by D3 - I opted to walk-on at a Div 1 school instead.

Yeah that is true - no offense to anyone, but visiting Northfield was eye-opening. I had already spent 18 years living in small rural town, and it just did not compare to being on a huge Big 10 campus. If I remember correctly, the big perk was that you could have kegs in the dorms?!?

This is a bad trip down DIII memory lane when I almost ditched my Big Ten school to transfer and play out my high school football glory days dream. Thank fucking god I didn’t put myself into 6 figures of debt to play for Carleton or the Tommies. Jesus Christ, people need to speak to their kids about when it is time to

The more you keep saying “Im a lawyer” the less credible you sound. Pro tip: saying stuff like that makes you sound like a newly minted first year associate. It's a rookie move, and you're better than that.
