We are going to see a massive errosion in consumption over the next decade. Boomers are all 56 years or older and rapidly moving into retirement. Gen X is much, much smaller. There is a bit of a consumption boost as Millenials are having families after a big delay, but they are, on average, having smaller families.

With the amount of money the big auto companies are now sinking into EVs.  Im sorry tesla’s days are numbered.  I cant wait to watch the giant fraud that is Tesla collapse.

Hey, what about the hyperloop?  Its not like they have given up and are selling their services digging utility tunnels at a less profitable margin than existing companies.

If we had a functioning SEC Musk would be in prison.

Well, we live in america.  We hate the poor.  We treat poverty as a failure of character.  Then glorify rich people who are born into wealth.  Making paris hilton a reality sensation was just further proof.  If you are rich, we will make you famous just for being rich.  If you are poor, get fucked.

my gf and i say this all the time.  I want immigrants to come here, and start businesses (since immigrants are more likely to become entrepeneurs)...and then bring their tasty tasty food customs with them.

Most of americas big problems can be rooted back to the idea that corporations shouldnt pay taxes, and in letting corps write policy.  We dont have good mass transit even in suburbs of a major city. I live in NJ, most densely populated state in the country.  It is impossible to take mass transit from my town to Sussex

Not just a robust pub transport system, it would require a massive investment in DMVs and test administration.  You make the test harder, people will fail, meaning they will have to test again, it would also require more qualified testers.  All of that costs money, and means higher taxes.  So none of that is going to

The NFL has been spending serious money promoting peewee football in TX, AL, and other southern states where they see the climate more favorable.  It is in primarily democratic controlled areas where football is on the decline.  As less people grow up playing it, or even having a school that is decent at it, ratings

always love the “socially liberal, fiscally conservative fake dems.” Even someone like buffett. Dude is a billionaire, giving his fortune away to a charity. Literally spending it to ensure a progressive wave in elections would be a better use for his money. The foundations he donates to can spend all the money on

Yeah, say what you will about marxism, but his analysis of capitalism is pretty spot on.

Xbox was such a crazy risk. I mean you look at the video game landscape at the time. Sony had been in the market for...6 years. Sega had just collapsed after just under 20. Atari was already nothing more than a name. Nintendo had just lost considerable market share to Sony after dominating two generations. If Nintendo

Yes, but Kottick received most of his stock as options.  So windfall, is not the right term, but he is going to realize like 20 years of salary, pre tax.

What is crazy that even as of 2011, there were still discussions at MS about spinning off Xbox to focus on corp divisions.

Hmmm.  Dont think it is race that will keep him out, but rather the fact that he is not a raging selfish asshole.  Thats the part the other owners wont like.  Plus democrat?  Cmon, cant have that in the owners meeting.

....either you went to my middle school or there was some form of standard curriculum for home ec floating around.  It was mandatory for us in 6th and 7th....for...i want to say a semester.  We had one of home ec, one of art, one of typing (which everyone hated bc the teacher was miserable human being), and one of

yep. Its why college would be better served having tests and quizes rather than your grade being a midterm and final, paper and final, just a paper, etc. Law School grades are almost solely based on a final exam...meaning you have to condense a whole semester of learning...say Crim Law, into a 4 hour exam. It teaches

Your analysis assumes MS is trying to move systems, they arent.  They are trying to drive people into a subscription model.  If they get enough people into their ecosystem, then the xbox ends up just being a custom pc, a steam machine that valve never got people to glom to.  That gamepass sub will keep inching up in

I still play d3 and d2...but they already got my money.  I was going to buy d2r on switch to play with a buddy, fuck that.  But we are a minority.  The majority of gamers dont follow this stuff.  Hell ask a boomer what activision is.  They have no idea.

Hardly the only one.  I mean this company is dead to you....Exxon has known that the burning of fossil fuels was the principle cause of global warming since the 70s and has actively worked to sow disinformation and doubt.  So...you avoid exxon mobile?
