Ireland - Fiats were very popular at one point. My folks had 6 Fiats in succession: the 124, a 128, two 127s, a Ritmo and a Regata. Despite Fiats rep here in the US, all 6 were rock solid reliable.

That’s some adorably awkward styling. I love a decent greenhouse and mourn its slow demise. Compare an old 911 to modern iterations, or look at pretty much any sharknose BMW - all that space and visibility!

My folks had a 124 wagon back in the day - it was (in hindsight) awesome

Miata seats are a great upgrade - better fore-aft adjustment, better lateral bolstering, actual head restraints and (for the early versions, at least) built-in headrest speakers. NA, and maybe NB, seats fit TR6s - I’m not sure if they’d fit in a GT6/Spitfire, which seem even smaller than the TR6

A GT6 would be the dogs bollocks. I was never a fan of the Spitfire, with its weedy little 4. The GT6 has, as James May would put it, “a proper British sports car engine”.

I would love to do a motorcycle restoration. Alas, this wouldn’t be the one. Maybe a CB400F or an airhead BMW. Better luck next time, Little Honda

A bunch of large ships wallowing about on the surface makes a hell of a lot more noise than one comparatively small drone that’s presumably attempting not to advertise its presence. You can’t exactly rig an aircraft carrier for silence.

Hell of a job - pity he had to ruin a perfectly good fast wagon by stancing it

Oh fuck, we’re going to be overrun by the most terrifying gang of all, the Lulu Lemons...

Looks like he went hog wild with Stephen Millers “InstaHair”

Jesus, if Mama Trump was the trophy wife, what did the second place get? A colonoscopy?

Didn’t her Slovenian grandmother teach her never to eat toadstools? You never know if they’re poisonous or not (hint: this one is)

Like a dolls eyes.....

Language is language. Words have meaning. It’s not a difficult concept

You’re an alumnus or an alumna- “alumni” is plural

You’re right - our Odyssey had significant welly- what I liked about the SEAT was that it was car-sized, but still fit 7, and having the manual made it more interesting to drive than the Ody.

A few years ago I drove a SEAT Alhambra - a badge-engineered VW, IIRC - 3 rows/7 seats but compact and car-like, 2 liter Diesel, 6MT, and significant get-up-and-go for a people carrier. It really pissed me off that we couldn’t get things like this in the US, having to content ourselves with squishy minivans or SUVs if

So how does it compare with the Miata now that the Miata got a not-insignificant horsepower boost?

That’s fucking hilarious, although I can’t help but feel a little sorry for the machine

Ah, that’s because it’s a hukai
