Brasilia has always reminded me of the setting for a 1970s Dr. Who episode, the kind where the Doctor and his companions arrive in what seems to be a utopia, but under the surface, something is very, very wrong. Deeply creepy place.

I was really disappointed how unsophisticated the politics after the great District 9. It still works as an 80s style Sci Fi/Action movie but I was hoping for more substance.
