As a long time practicing architect I would argue that I do know what i am talking about. However the context of still just architecture is indicating that while it might be amazing architecture it isn't, as presented, innovative architecture. The main innovation is that it doesn't look like most glass and blob

I don't want to be that guy but when I read innovative architecture, I am expecting a net-zero building. Something that is using its architecture to not only surprise or reimagine architecture but as a means to reduce the carbon footprint, energy dependence and heat island effect of the local environ.

I would love to see them do a street race, Detroit would be a great choice.

As well it would be interesting to see them do a point to point race, similar to the Copperstate Classic. Place strategic pit stops along the way with tires and fuel, and let them run the distance (500-600 miles or so). That would probably be

as i recall he blew out his knee or something on that shot. Guy is amazing. This whole list could be Jackie Chan scenes. The jumping on the ferry where he broke his leg, amazing. The stunts in the Operation Condor: Amour of the Gods in the wind tunnel: Brilliant.

As a counterpart to "When the wind blows" is this short from the NFBC (The National Film Board of Canada" which presents similar themes though less serious and more funny. Still the obliviousness of the couple to the impending doom...sad. Though their end, while no less horrible, is much more happy.

I guess I was pointing out that this was a high profile use in the tour. Tour riders are notoriously diligent in using materials and technologies that don't fail. You will notice that most riders on the tour will use aluminum handlebars over the much more common carbon bars. They will bend before breaking allowing a

Coke, cigarettes, alcohol, whatever seemed to get them going and keep them going they used. Still though, being self sufficient, riding without team support, support cars, neutral support cars, etc, it really is at a level of epic that a few lines of coke to get you through seems almost justified.

Very few of them ever used strong arm tactics, personal threats, professional threats and drove people out of the sport to keep it quiet though. Armstrong did all those things and more. He was militant in his dictatorship. Go against him and find yourself against the might of his corporate arm. This is why he is a

If I am not mistaken, this is also one of the first carbon frames to be used, as well as Lemond ushering in the use of time trial bras for the time trials ultimately beating Laurent Fignon by 7 seconds using this tech on the last day of the tour.

GTi any year will do. Not overly powerful, abundant parts shared across multiple platforms, a good tuners market, easy to work on and safe. Plus three wheeling autocross action.

it is definitely not this: because racetruck

The big question I have, besides "cantilevers need back spans" which is more of statement, is who would live in these? I thought the majority of North Koreans lived in abject poverty. Is there this level of elite to support these visions or is this no different than architecture school design assignments where you

That car is like marty feldman's eyes.

I regularly take my forester family truckster off road, camping, canoeing and just mild offroading. The main thing they could do from the factory is add some skid plates for the Cat and exhaust as I have smashed mine and gotten the dreaded p420 CEL error code due to that excursion.

I recall reading an article in I want to say R&T regard a team that wanted to use this tech at Indy too. It was a similar concept, regenerative braking transferring to a flywheel, only this time it was under the driver as I recall. There were also the same concerns regarding a crash at 225mph and what would happen to

From that shitty movie 2012, a private pilot with cessna experience co-pilots this Antonov through a thankfully crumbling Las Vegas. See the scene where he threads the needle through the Wynn. http://youtu.be/4qILmMqxXBY

Saddest compilation of videos I have seen yet. Such anger.
