Actually you just made me feel bad thatI didn’t mention Joe vs Scott Steiner and the Mike Tenay/Don West high five.

Thank you for making the “Joe once had a dick painted on his face in TNA” joke after I made the call not to. Somebody needed to step up.
Oh my God. How did I forget THAT? Now that you mention it I’m pretty sure I laughed out loud as a result when he walked out.
I didn’t get to watch much of the last cycle of episodes, but in the last year or two before that, it felt to me like they had eliminated pretty much all of the unlikable personalities from the show.
Fair enough. Tally ho.
Oh, trust me, some people have been WAY weirder about it
Well, yeah, but I can get to a point why they didn’t change the name.
I know, I was joking, too. :)
Gotcha, though I don’t understand why you’re reading the wrestling content, then.
Correct.
Yeah, when it was a counter to “Diva” it was kind of clever (“They’re hot and they can also kick ass!”) and served a purpose, but now it’s outdated and overly superficial.
Would “I AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE OF GLOW AND THE UPCOMING WWE TOURNAMENT” have really been a better headline? :)

You’re not wrong, but here’s the thing: They ruined it several years before WWE even considered that “hey, maybe ‘bitches be crazy’ shouldn’t be the underlying moral of ever storyline the women were involved in. In the grand scheme of things, the Knockouts division had no lasting impact (pun not intended) other than…
You can quibble on the wording a little, but I don’t really see an argument against this? They’ve finally embraced serious women’s wrestling and the women’s divisions are not treated by the announcers and writers as lesser and/or less serious than the men’s divisions anymore in any way other than the gender balance on…
I wanted to address the whole Finlay as trainer period but I didn’t think there was a great spot to slide it in.
And it took less than 5 years for TNA to undo all of the progress that they had made on the national stage. Who needs Ayako Hamada and Sarah Stock when Vince Russo can script everyone to call each other bitches and sluts?
I somehow don’t remember this part.
Well, this showed up as a reply to the wrong comment.
