Greg Howard grew up in the white suburbs. He knows as much about black struggle as you do. The closest he has gotten to a ghetto was when he watched season 2 of The Wire.

Are you suggesting that the cops rigged the security cameras? Don't forget, it was the deceased that chose the venue, not the cops.
Say, Gawker, did you hear about the unarmed white guy that was killed by police in South Carolina? If you want to make a statement about police abuse of power, your silence on this matter speaks volumes. His name was Zachary Hammond, by the way. #alllivesmatter #sayhisname
And why the fuck is this story on Deadspin anyway?Take your Jon Stewart hard-on elsewhere.
Jon Stewart was on the air this long? Good for him.
Doesn’t the NFL always lose these appeals in a court of law? Isn’t that what happened with Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice and the Bountygate debacles?? I'm guessing this one will be more of the same.
Is it relevant that the NFL, itself, never cared about ball inflation/deflation prior to this charade?
Fuck Greg Howard right up his stupid ass.
Yes. Phantom blood clot + hanging yourself will kill you every time.
“I was in diapers when I started memorizing that tournament”
Oh man! Thanks for making me recall Requiem. That was brutal!
I remember renting this movie with a few guys in College. It disgusted all of us in a way that was completely unexpected. I had to stop watching and leave the room with about 30 minutes to go. I did finish it later, but I know this is a movie that I never want to see again. And if you missed it 20 years ago, keep it…
He's black, so we can only conclude the police are at fault here.
It’s weird, because I remember this catch and it was ruled a HR for Ripken. However, isn’t this Buhner catch really the same thing? It was called an out.
Ha! I was close. I loved that damn movie. Might have been the ONLY time I finished a movie and just started watching it again right away.
Remember Sammy Jengis.
I think he liked a small, Indie picture once. Anything that is a “big” movie with a budget gets panned automatically(and I'm not saying that is unwarranted in this particular case).
Yeah, because we all know that St. Louis is NOTHING like it was depicted in that movie.
They love that shit. They did the same with ISIS drowning and beheading people. I can’t watch people dying. I shouldn’t have to be subjected to it on their main page(same with the gruesome photo of the dead guy that escaped prison). Fuck Gawker!
In all honesty, the guy was on the air for something like 20 hours/week for 10-15 years. Who the hell has consumed that much air time without having some controversy? Most of these comments are pretty benign. I am not getting all the uproar here.
