Why is my Giulia still sitting in Italy, fully built, for the entire month of August?

Get a Giulia!?!?! Easier said then done!
I ordered a custom build in early June, was told 10-12 weeks, which is reasonable. My car finished assembly on August 3rd, pretty much 4 weeks ago.
Where is my Giulia as of today? STILL IN ITALY!
Wow, look at the effort they’re going to to get the exhaust to be a specific tuned length. Impressive.
Car shows are for losers who don’t have their own car collections.
They weren’t all bought back. VW has 3 years (Sept 2015 to Sept 2018) to purchase or modify 80% of all of the affected vehicles.
A class leading warranty is exactly what Alfa should have done at the launch of this car to dispel any issues. It shouldn’t cost them much to do it, because the vast majority of these issues are cropping up early in each car and would have been covered under the current 4year, 50k warranty.
How to make money on any non-running British car:
Buy it for less than $20 and call your local scrapper who will give you probably about $125 for it and even tow it away for you. I guarantee you that the $105 you make doing this ($125 less $20) will give you more profit per hour than the author actually ended up with.…
There are plenty of Alfa owners, QF and regular Giulias, that have had random shut downs and loss of power. Check out GiuliaForums
Fuck you, and Move.
Cops are idiots, they didn’t think about whether anyone was filming them.
Because Jag wants the publicity from the car, they don’t actually want to sell it... thus you give it an absurd price. They’ll get the hype, without the headaches of having many customers buy them.
I will be in Columbus OH this Saturday if you would like to make an appointment with me to have your organs harvested.

No, BMW sucks such much, and that is why I bought my wife a new Alfa Romeo Giulia (due in about 2 months).
I’ve driven the XE and the Giulia as well. The Giulia is a much nicer car... and as a testament to that, I just placed my order for one on June 9th.
I own a VW TDI, I liked diesels until Sept 2015. In fact, I still think they offer tremendous advantages to the right user (like me). Problem is my TDI goes back to VW as soon as my new Alfa arrives in late August.
You should ask David Tracy out on a date, you two would make a fine couple.
No, it was pushed to that spot because it broke down. And it will now be left to rust into the earth because the owner is disgusted with it, but refuses to sell it because he is too attached to it.
How disturbing that you and I share an affinity for the lovely inline-6 engine layout. I’m a world recognized expert on a particular British inline-6 engine...
They apparently lied about their profession and told dealership employees that they were Federal Agents.
