I'm with you. This will get used this week.
The Lexus front grille designers are officially worried about someone else on their turf.
FUGLY
Yeah. It's just an idiom for doing business. I say shit like that all the time.
Just bought a 2019 Jetta GLI Autobahn last weekend. Spent a week forwarding quotes from one dealer to another until it fell silent, and I bought from “the last man standing.” When I arrived, the manager came out to greet me, thanked me for choosing him, and when I said "My approach was probably a bit strange..." he…
Not condescending or presumptuous.
Changed hands so many times I'm lost. But it's such an iconic brand. Good luck to VW in the sale, and the new owners. 🍻
LOL!
I miss my ‘85 533i, but I also don’t. It had issues. But worst of all, I got rid of it because it had an awful smell (cue Seinfeld’s ”The Smelly Car”).
52 miles one way (104 round trip). 65 minutes on average. From Loveland CO to north side of Denver. Bought a pass for the tolls too. Had I not it would have added another ten minutes each way. Bought a car with a killer stereo and SiriusXM so I was entertained. Didn’t bother me that much until it snowed. Longest…
At that price, I might go for a used Acura TLX, used Lincoln MKZ, Buick Regal, Toyota Camry XSE, the new turbo Subaru Legacy, and especially a used Kia Stinger over the Mazda. No, it’s NOT a pretty car (needs a serious nose job), but the interior looks nice.
Man, I’ve never seen a more perfect demonstration of Porsche’s classic O V E R S T E E R in a turn than this video. My physics class will love it. Thanks!
BINGO!
It is a kick in the nuts, especially if your court-appointed judge is on a social justice crusade (which most are), but it’s not perennial. So once the financial part is over, it’s worth it.
Here here! I like sedans for all the stupid impractical reasons. 😀
Because sedans are different. To boil it down to one or two factors oversimplifies the divide. I get what you’re saying, but I’ll be dead before my body rides in a CUV. I just like sedans. There’s nothing more to it than that.
I do miss minivans. When my kids were small, there was only one or two CUV options, and we all drive minivans, and they were awesome. If I didn't have a sense of vanity I would still have one even though the kiddos are out of the house. They were function over form and there is a certain sense of satisfaction in that.
I’m 46 and I love my sedan (Subaru Legacy Limited). My body isn’t breaking down and my kids don’t give a crap, and hauling stuff isn’t an issue. I recognize you're speaking generally and not specifically, and I know my voice is the quietest in the automaking marketing and production strategy meetings but I don't care.…
I don’t know about true gearheads, but for me, I won’t touch a CUV because a) they’re fugly, b) they’re ubiquitous, and c) they’re slow (mostly), d) mpg is poop. But I am and always will be foremost a sedan guy, so I’m not the target audience. I have a Wrangler for towing, and snow and mud, but it’s not my daily, and…
