Not here in the US either, I'm not sure about in Italian. But when you are rolling down the streets of the city that not only invented the Margherita pizza, but pizza itself, no one is going to make that distinction when it is "hollered"!

I understand what function they can serve from an aero perspective. I'm just saying that slapping them on every supercar thats coming down the pipeline kind of takes away from them being special. It's almost like every new supercar design is incorporating these in some way. I just think it looks a bit "forced" on the

NO, Overdrive?? On Jalopnik? Did you really think you were going to squeek that by?

"I know, lets take Top Gear to the next level and call it overdrive... so that everybody knows now that the show will be cruising along not making much noise and keeping everyone comfortable"

What's top-er than Top Gear? Overdrive.

Well, they said 'entry level'...SO AROUND $30K, RIGHT? RIGHT????

They have an easily international audience and they've proven they're able to fund bigger budget projects. TG 3.0 should be online.

Why 20k? Why not under 15k? Why not under 12k? Hell, why not price it at the same $2200 bucks of the 1997 hand me down Cavalier that 95% of Jalopnik drives.

unless this is starting at 125-150k , I don't see how Porsche would be worried.

Speaking of the VW engine in back being a "tired old joke," there was an episode of The Munsters where Herman goes shopping for a car for Marilyn. Opening the engine compartment of a Beetle, he remarks, "Oh, the lady who owned this car left her sewing machine in the trunk."

Microwaved hotdog on bun, Cheetos, chocolate wafers, and pineapple tidbits.

And this is just the Internet. Imagine me in person. Maybe we should all start having Jalopnik get-togethers?

...This conversation took a turn. A weird scary turn.
