@taftsearlobe33: The reason I wanted it changed is because I was naive enough to use my real name as my Gamertag. I imagine I'm perfectly safe, but it's better to be anonymous. Except here on Kotaku of course. ;)

Yah, that's the sticking point. The software only works once you've already hacked your TiVo. Not everyone is comfortable or skilled enough to make it happen. It's still a great "feature" but not everyone will be able to partake and that should be mentioned.
