these were fun bikes back in the day, but not $3250 in 2015 money, you could find one in someone’s garage for $400 and spend far less than $2850 and have a hell of canyon carver, sunday/funday bike. CP

The Sube swap is doable, but GoWesty has got the chops for building really good VW motors. They also make a swap in 5 Speed tranny if the beast still has the original 4 Spd
GoWesty has a thing for Vanagons esp the Synchro 4X4 camper variants. Some people will shell out 100,000+ for a fully rebuilt one. At 27K this is about right given what GoWesty sells the vans for. Has to be the right person, at the right time, with the right wallet. I am none of the above - CP
I owned a 280z (2 seater, 4spd) for a bit, wonderful cars, as long as they don’t have rust.
Live on the east coast, these things never work due to fm overcrowding

It looks like a mid 80’s camaro..... not necessarily bad, but dated
I came here to post this very TV, most cheap TVs only have cheap crappy apps, this one has a roku built in, so add 60 or so usd to any other set
Sensory issues = Special Snowflake Treatment, I’ve raised two kids, and yes there are times when a healthy child’s mind goes batshit crazy about texture etc for no reason, but guess what? when my kid suddenly didn’t like chicken with breading on it, we stopped going to KFC
I once wanted to find a CRX or delSol, my only criteria was that it had to be unmolested, aka not stanced, bee can exhaust or motor swapped. Looked for 6 months around the north east, found only one with a reasonable 112k on it, and got into some bidding war with a 22 year old with more money than brains who outbid me…
it’s pretty true, Person spoke on Podcast, Employer of Person fires person for speaking on podcast, dog bites man, film at 11
I have same bag, it is the best one I’ve had in 20 years, holds everything I need
I would buy this for the joy when it runs well that one time
yep. with the same corporate “look” the Chevy design language is deeply embedded
the juke is great, from the inside, as long as you don’t have to look at it, it’s a great car. Whereas the Cross Cab fails that important test
I used to think this C&D article was the best review of the cross cab, @DougDemuro has corrected that now
Definitely a LeMons candidate
desperately pretty car, awesome motor, too much money for what it is. The XJS SBC swap is well know, this is a variation on that, but it was too much green for all that walnut. I’ve always had a soft spot for the XJ, it’s a stately car from a more civilized era
I absolutely love this generation of BMW, dreams cars when I was in college, but 15k? eh CP at that level, knock it down 5-7k and it would be NP all day long
