It was part of the central red chair motif of the episode! You just hate love and timeless, mature commitment.

Also, the scenes in Peaks proper tonight were among my favorite of the entire series so far. Not that everything else wasn't superb. We are upon the threshold of something far more wonderful and far more strange than we have yet seen.
That grand theory about Cooper's shoes being the heart of this season is starting to look better and better.
Everything is embarassing
Sky Ferreia.
They call it "post-horror". It is neither post anything, nor is it horror.
You groan now, but just wait until the revival of the pine weasel subplot ends up being the emotional climax of the new series.
I think Phillip is a normal guy, just kind of funny/dark that it would be where the "Fire Walk With Me" tattoo ( a sign of where you'd been touched by the devilish one, supposedly) normally is. I see it in the same way as I see the red curtains in Jacques's cabin. There's a lot of parallel symbols "between two worlds"…
On a related note, I was recently rewatching some of the first season, and Philip Gerard (Mike's human host) saying the tattoo on his missing arm said "MOM" before bursting into tears takes on a different tone now that we've heard talk of some dangerous "Mother".
Stephen accurately compared the Lodge creatures behavior in the film to a gang, where Mike's dispute with BOB becomes over access to creamed corn rather than morality and the Arm helps Cooper solve Laura's murder out of sheer spite.
Blue Rose.
Yeah, the monkey says Judy's name.
She's my mother's sister's girl.
The boring option! The star of the show tweeted it and it was up for at least a day. The world can't be that cruel and misleading. Surely it will appear online at the usual time! Right? Right? *cries*
Hey, for good or ill, it's the embodiment of our Zeitgeist now.
I forgot the monkey that speaks her name at the end. I wonder if it's the one from Inland Empire.
McLachlan said there was yesterday. Perhaps there's a special super secret way to watch it?
We're not going to talk about Judy.
I can't decide!
